Continuation of the previous part, 3 - The Secret
The morning sun bathed the resort in a warm, golden light, as the Harrisons met Sir Everhart near the lighthouse. He led them inside, where a large, antique book lay on a wooden table. The leather-bound tome looked worn but well cared for, and the pages were filled with exquisite handwriting in a language the Harrisons couldn't recognize.
"Allow me to introduce you to the 'Chronicles of Eden'," Sir Everhart said, a note of reverence in his voice. "This text, written by Émilie Beaumont, has been passed down through generations of our society. It contains stories, rituals, and wisdom about the resort and the nudist lifestyle, and lays the foundation of the Guardians of Eden. It's just written in a language that few can understand."
Eva traced her fingers over the delicate script. "What language is this? It looks like nothing I've ever seen before."
Sir Everhart chuckled. "It's a mix of several languages, actually. Émilie was a polyglot and created a unique blend of English, French, Latin, and some ancient Greek. Her intention was to keep the text's secrets hidden from those who might misuse them."
“It’s a good thing I learned French and Latin at school.” Lily erupted with a smile.
