Naked and Honest

As the year comes to a close, I don’t feel like judging it. I feel like sitting down with it. Looking at it quietly. Letting it tell me what actually happened, not what I had planned.

At the start of the year, I set a handful of nudist goals. Not resolutions, not commandments, just intentions. Little flags planted on the path, knowing full well that paths rarely go exactly where we expect.

Now, as I am sitting in front of my computer, I want to take some time to look at where that year led me.

Counting nude days

One of my goals was to count more nude days and reach 150. Somewhere along the way, I stopped counting. Not because it didn’t matter anymore, but because nudity had become… normal again. Integrated. Unremarkable in the best possible way.

Looking back, I estimate I went well beyond 160 nude days this year. That alone tells me something important: when nudity becomes a habit rather than a challenge, numbers fade into the background.

Next year, I’d love to reach a little over 180 days. Not as a performance, just as a natural extension of a life lived more often without clothes, and living it just more than half of the awaken year (when you add sleep time, I went largely over 50% of my spent entirely naked).

A week at a nudist resort

This one didn’t happen. Family constraints made it impossible, and that’s life. Naturism doesn’t live in a bubble, and sometimes priorities shift.

What matters is that the desire is still there. This is not an abandoned goal, just a postponed one. A full week immersed in a nudist environment will happen. Not out of stubbornness, but because I know how grounding and nourishing that experience is.

Five full-day naked hikes

This goal, I’m happy to say, was fully lived. Five full days walking naked, feeling the weather change on my skin, moving at the rhythm of my body rather than the clock.

And unsurprisingly, once you’ve done it, you don’t really want to stop. I’ll be doing this again this year, not to tick a box, but because it has become one of the purest expressions of what naturism means to me.

Weekly nudist blog posts

This one happened too. Writing regularly, week after week, about nudism, naturism, doubts, joys, and everyday naked life has become part of my rhythm.

I’ll keep going. Not because consistency looks good on paper, but because these words clearly want to exist, and because sharing this journey matters to me. I even had the opportunity to be featured multiple times on Naked, Nudists and Naturists.

Publishing goals

I had ambitious publishing plans: three meaningful projects. In the end, only Vendanges made it to publication this year.

But life had a plot twist. Just before Christmas, Unwrapped was born. Unexpected, but very real.

So no, I didn’t hit the original target. And yes, the fire is very much alive.

Next year, the plan is clearer and bolder: at least four books, starting with a novel anthology in January. The real ambition? Six books. Not rushed, not forced, but honest, embodied, and rooted in lived naturism.

Introducing friends to nudism

This one didn’t happen, and I feel that absence. Not as a failure, but as a reminder: naturism grows through shared experiences.

This year, I want to change that. Not by convincing anyone, but by creating the space. My intention is simple: make at least two new nudist friends, people to spend time with, to hike with, to share naked moments that feel natural and uncomplicated.

Because nudism, at its heart, is not a solo sport.

What I take with me

Looking back, I see a year that didn’t follow instructions but stayed true to its essence. Nudity was present. Sometimes planned, often spontaneous. Sometimes loud, mostly quiet.

And that’s exactly how I want it.

If there’s one thing this year confirmed for me, it’s that naturism doesn’t need pressure to grow. It needs patience, honesty, and room to breathe.
